Emergency Ward

 The Emergency ward of Ayatollah Taleghani Medical Research and Education Center is one of the main referral centers for emergency patients in Kermanshah city and also one of the main referral centers for patients from other parts of the province and neighboring provinces. This ward has been the main center for accepting trauma patients, which has specialized units and a triage with trained personnel in this field and an operating room with appropriate space to perform outpatient surgeries. This Ward has a CPR room with 4 beds and all the necessary facilities to provide services to patients in need of cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

The provision of paraclinical services in this ward is presented in such a way that the least time is allocated to the project of requesting and performing paraclinical services.

This ward, with the presence of emergency medicine specialists, resident physicians and specialized oncalls required by patients, screen doctors, experienced nurses and compassionate non-medical staff (support services), has made its efforts to increase satisfaction and complete patient care.

 

In addition to treatment and diagnostic facilities, this ward has an active emergency pharmacy that provides rapid access to medicines and consumables needed by emergency patients for treatment. The presence of a dedicated pharmacy in this regard accelerates the provision of medical services, especially in critical situations and medical emergencies.

Orthopedic 1 Ward

 The physical location of Orthopedic 1 Ward is located on the Upper of the hospital's emergency building. Orthopedic 1 Ward, Ayatollah Taleghani Medical Research and Education Center, is responsible for accepting and caring for patients who are transferred from the general emergency room to the operating room for orthopedic surgeries.

This Ward plays an important role in the management of orthopedic patients in the stages before and immediately after surgery.

In this Ward, patients are under the supervision of orthopedic specialists and experienced nurses and the necessary care is provided until their general condition is stabilized. After the initial stages of treatment, patients are transferred to Other wards to continue their hospitalization and treatment. Proper coordination of this Ward with the emergency room, operating room, and inpatient Wards accelerates and improves the patient treatment process.

 Orthopedic 2 Ward (Men) 

 The physical location of the Men's Orthopedic Ward is located on the second floor of the hospital building. The Men's Orthopedic Ward of Ayatollah Taleghani Medical Research and Education Center is dedicated to the hospitalization and treatment of male patients with bone and joint injuries and problems. Patients in this ward are mainly transferred to this ward after undergoing the initial stages of treatment in the emergency and orthopedic 1 Wards .

 

In this ward, medical and care services are provided by orthopedic specialist doctors, trained nurses and experienced medical staff. Following up on the treatment process, post-surgical care and paying attention to the safety and comfort of patients are among the main priorities of this ward.

Orthopedic 3 ward  (Women)

 The physical location of the Women's Orthopedic Ward is located on the third floor of the hospital building. The Women's Orthopedic Ward of Ayatollah Taleghani Medical Research and Education Center is dedicated to providing inpatient and treatment services to female patients with orthopedic injuries and diseases. After admission and initial measures in the emergency and orthopedic1 wards, patients are transferred to this ward for continued treatment.

 

In this ward, medical care is provided in collaboration with orthopedic specialists and experienced nurses, and the efforts of the medical staff are focused on improving the patients' condition and accelerating their recovery.

 Trauma Intensive Care Units (ICU2 and ICU3) 
 
The physical location of ICU2 and ICU3 are located on the second floor and the third floor of the hospital building. ICU2 and ICU3 intensive care units of Ayatollah Taleghani Medical Research and Education Center are dedicated to providing critical and round-the-clock care to critically ill and injured patients. These units accept patients who require continuous monitoring and special care after accidents, surgeries, or transfers from the emergency ward.
In these units, patients are under the supervision of specialist physicians,Anesthesiology resident physicians, and experienced nurses, and all necessary care measures are taken to stabilize the general condition of the patients. Among the services provided in these units are the placement of a central venous catheter (CVL) by the resident anesthesia service, careful monitoring of vital signs, respiratory support, and other treatment measures required by the patients.
Hemodialysis for patients in need is also performed in these Ward, using appropriate equipment (portable hemodialysis machine) and in coordination with the relevant treatment team. Diagnostic and therapeutic services required by ICU patients, including ultrasound, echocardiography, electrocardiography, radiology, etc., are also provided in the shortest possible time using portable equipment available in these Wards and in cooperation with other hospital units, including the emergency room, operating room, imaging, and laboratory, so that the treatment process of patients can continue without interruption.
The efforts of the medical staff in these Ward are focused on providing safe, accurate, and continuous care, maintaining patient safety, and increasing the satisfaction of patients and their companions.

International and Special Patients ward (IPD/VIP) 

 
The physical location of the IPD/VIP ward is located on the ground floor of the hospital building. The International and Special Patients ward (IPD/VIP) Ayatollah Taleghani Medical Research and Education Center is dedicated to providing medical and care services to foreign patients and special patients. This Ward aims to provide high-quality services, providing a calm, safe and suitable environment for patients and their companions.
This Ward is equipped with up-to-date facilities and equipment, and the diagnostic, therapeutic and care services required by patients are provided in full coordination between the different units of the hospital. In the IPD/VIP ward, the process of admission, hospitalization, treatment and discharge of patients is carried out with speed, accuracy and appropriate order.
Services in this Ward are provided by specialist doctors, experienced nurses and trained personnel fluent in foreign languages, so that effective communication with international patients can be established and their medical and welfare needs are met in the best possible way. Respecting patient dignity, maintaining privacy, and increasing patient satisfaction are the main priorities of this ward.
This Ward, by establishing the necessary coordination with the emergency room, operating room, inpatient wards, ICU, and paraclinical units, provides the conditions for providing safe and quality medical services for foreign and special patients.

Neurosurgery ward
 
The physical location of the Neurosurgery Ward is located on the third floor of the hospital building. The Neurosurgery Ward of Ayatollah Taleghani Medical Research and Education Center is one of the active and specialized Ward of this hospital, which is dedicated to the hospitalization and treatment of patients with brain, nerve, and spine problems. This Ward accepts patients referred from the hospital's emergency room as well as patients introduced from other medical centers in the province and neighboring provinces.
In this Ward, patients with injuries caused by accidents, brain injuries, spinal problems, and other diseases related to the brain and nerves are cared for and treated. The process of admission, hospitalization, and follow-up of patient treatment is carried out with care and complete coordination among the medical team to achieve the best treatment results.
The Neurosurgery Ward, with the help of specialized and experienced neurosurgery doctors, resident and on-call doctors, trained nurses, and committed support staff, provides medical and care services to patients around the clock. Paying attention to patient safety, careful care, and appropriate response to patients' needs are among the main priorities of this Ward.
Also, the diagnostic and support services required by patients in this Ward are provided in the shortest possible time in cooperation with other hospital units so that the treatment process continues without interruption and the satisfaction of patients and their companions is ensured.

General Surgery ward 

 
The physical location of the General Surgery ward is located on the second floor of the hospital building. The General Surgery Ward of Ayatollah Taleghani Medical Research and Education Center is dedicated to the hospitalization and treatment of patients requiring surgical procedures in various fields. This Ward accepts patients referred from the emergency room and clinics and provides the necessary medical services before and after surgery.
In this Ward, patients are under the care of general surgery specialists, resident physicians, and trained nurses. The efforts of the medical staff in this Ward are focused on providing safe care, closely following up on the patients' condition, and increasing their satisfaction.

The operating room 

 
The physical location of the operating room is located on the ground floor of the hospital building. The operating room of Ayatollah Taleghani Medical Research and Education Center provides surgical services to hospitalized and emergency patients with appropriate space and necessary equipment. The operating room plays an important role in the treatment of trauma patients and other patients requiring surgical interventions.
In this ward, surgical teams consisting of specialist physicians, operating room nurses, and support staff provide medical services to patients, observing the necessary safety principles and standards. The coordination of this ward with the emergency ward and other hospital units has accelerated the treatment process for patients.
The operating room of Ayatollah Taleghani Medical Research and Education Center has a separate pharmaceutical unit that is responsible for providing medicines and pharmaceutical items required for surgical procedures. This unit aims to increase patient safety, expedite the surgical process, and provide appropriate support to surgical teams. The CSSD unit of the Ayatollah Taleghani Educational and Research Hospital is responsible for washing, disinfecting, packaging, and sterilizing medical and surgical equipment, and plays an important role in maintaining patient safety and preventing hospital infections.

 Central Pharmacy 
 
The Central Pharmacy of Ayatollah Taleghani Medical Research and Education Center, as one of the main support units, is responsible for supplying and distributing medicines and medical equipment needed by various Wards of the hospital on a 24-hour basis.
With regular planning and continuous monitoring, this unit plays an important role in providing timely medicines needed by hospitalized and emergency patients. The Central Pharmacy, in close cooperation with the medical, emergency, ICU and operating room Unit, strives to ensure that there is no interruption in the treatment process of patients and that pharmaceutical services are provided with appropriate care and safety.

Imaging Unit 

 
The physical location of the imaging Unit is located on the ground floor of the hospital building. The imaging Unit of Ayatollah Taleghani Medical Research and Education Center provides the diagnostic services needed by patients in the shortest possible time. This Unit  includes radiology, ultrasound, CT scan and MRI units, and the PEX system, which plays an important role in the diagnosis and follow-up of patients' treatment.
The experienced staff of this Unit, in close cooperation with the treating physicians, strive to provide imaging services with appropriate accuracy and speed and to provide the results to the treatment team as quickly as possible.

The laboratory Unit of Ayatollah Taleghani Medical Research and Education Center is one of the treatment support units that provides laboratory diagnostic services to inpatients and outpatients. This Unit plays an important role in diagnosing, following up and controlling the treatment process of patients.
Performing tests with appropriate accuracy and speed and sending results to the treatment Wards on time are the main goals of this unit, which is achieved with the efforts of experienced laboratory experts.

 Blood Bank 
 
The physical location of the blood bank Unit is located in the laboratory on the ground floor of the hospital building. The blood bank of Ayatollah Taleghani Medical Research and Education Center operates with the aim of providing blood and blood products needed by patients. This unit plays a vital role in the treatment of trauma patients, surgeries and emergencies.
All processes of receiving, storing and distributing blood are carried out in compliance with safety standards so that the needs of patients are met in the shortest possible time.

The results of this Unit play an important role in treatment decisions and follow-up of patients' conditions.
This Unit, in cooperation with physicians and medical staff, strives to provide reports to the treating physicians accurately and in a timely manner.

Diabetes Clinic

 
The physical location of the clinic is located in the courtyard of the hospital, adjacent to the emergency room building. Diabetes Clinic, Ayatollah Taleghani Educational Research Center is dedicated to providing outpatient services and follow-up for patients with diabetes. In this clinic, patients are examined and the necessary training and advice are provided to control the disease and prevent complications.
This clinic aims to improve the quality of life of patients and help better manage the disease, and provides its services in cooperation with experienced medical staff.

Patient Education Unit

In this unit, the necessary training is provided regarding personal care, treatment follow-up, compliance with medical recommendations, and lifestyle improvement.
This unit plays an effective role in increasing patient participation in the treatment process and improving their level of satisfaction, and training is provided according to each patient's conditions.

Echocardiography Unit 

 
The Echocardiography Unit of Ayatollah Taleghani Medical Research and Education Center operates to provide diagnostic and consulting services in the field of heart diseases. This unit plays an important role in assessing the heart condition of hospitalized and emergency patients, especially trauma patients and patients requiring examination before surgery.
In this unit, cardiac consultations required by patients are performed and necessary examinations are performed to confirm the heart condition of patients before surgery (OK operation). The services of this unit are provided in cooperation with experienced physicians and in full coordination with the inpatient, emergency, ICU and operating room wards so that the treatment process of patients continues without interruption.

 

Physiotherapy Unit 

 
The Physiotherapy unit of Ayatollah Taleghani Medical Research and Education Center is dedicated to providing rehabilitation and movement services to hospitalized patients. This unit plays an effective role in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with injuries and movement restrictions (CBR), patients with brain injuries, and patients hospitalized in intensive care units (ICU).
In this ward, physiotherapy services are provided with the aim of preventing complications of immobility, improving motor function, accelerating the recovery process, and increasing patients' independence. Services are provided by experienced physiotherapists in coordination with the treatment team of different ward of the hospital.
