| The physical location of ICU2 and ICU3 are located on the second floor and the third floor of the hospital building. ICU2 and ICU3 intensive care units of Ayatollah Taleghani Medical Research and Education Center are dedicated to providing critical and round-the-clock care to critically ill and injured patients. These units accept patients who require continuous monitoring and special care after accidents, surgeries, or transfers from the emergency ward. In these units, patients are under the supervision of specialist physicians,Anesthesiology resident physicians, and experienced nurses, and all necessary care measures are taken to stabilize the general condition of the patients. Among the services provided in these units are the placement of a central venous catheter (CVL) by the resident anesthesia service, careful monitoring of vital signs, respiratory support, and other treatment measures required by the patients. Hemodialysis for patients in need is also performed in these Ward, using appropriate equipment (portable hemodialysis machine) and in coordination with the relevant treatment team. Diagnostic and therapeutic services required by ICU patients, including ultrasound, echocardiography, electrocardiography, radiology, etc., are also provided in the shortest possible time using portable equipment available in these Wards and in cooperation with other hospital units, including the emergency room, operating room, imaging, and laboratory, so that the treatment process of patients can continue without interruption. The efforts of the medical staff in these Ward are focused on providing safe, accurate, and continuous care, maintaining patient safety, and increasing the satisfaction of patients and their companions.
